Food Science Students: Get Your Research in Front of Thousands!

Have you been working hard all year on the next big thing in the food science field? The 2014 annual IFT meeting is your chance to get your research in front of thousands of people. Don’t let your hard work go unnoticed! Tomorrow is the deadline to submit your technical research paper abstract.  Send in your proposal now for consideration at the 2014 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo to share your scientific and scholarly achievements with your colleagues.

Not only is this a great opportunity to network but also a chance to show off your work to potential employers. If you’ve been toiling away in the lab trying to figure out how to make our food safer, more nutritious or how we’re going to feed our growing population, and everything in between, I urge you to share it with the community of like minded scientists who will be attending IFT14.

The 2013 Annual Meeting Scientific Program brought together over 350 presenters in more than 100 educational sessions and 1,400 poster presentations which were accessible to over 11,000 individuals. Sessions covered a range of topics from the Food Safety Modernization Act, to  food health and wellness, to professional and career development.

I went to the IFT Annual Meeting last year for the first time ever, and was extremely impressed with all the work food science students across the country are doing to improve lives. The work you do helps everyone on the planet live and eat better. Presenting your research to the community is one way to share your great ideas and take it to the next level.

Use this link to read the submission guidelines and don’t wait the deadline is tomorrow!

  1. Hi! I am from Mexico and this will be my third time at IFT annual meeting. If you are from different country of US, let you the chance to assist. You won’t regret. IFT brings you the opportunity of view all food industries and the food research at the same place. And if you present your work on it you will receive very insightful comments from the bests people from the area (that help me a lot on my research). Don’t be afraid of not being the English your native language (as my case), all people are glad with you and can be patient. Also you will meet professionals that can share you their experiences and how their got the susses.
