Chapter of the Year Competition

By: David Bloom

The deadline to submit your Chapter of the Year Competition submissions is soon approaching. The goal of this competition is to highlight and honor some of our most exceptional student chapters. Awards will be given to the chapter who has shown to be the strongest in leadership, community outreach, member involvement, and participation in IFT. Additionally, the chapter which has shown the most improvement from last year will be awarded with the Most Improved Chapter of the Year award. The deadline to submit your entry is May 1st at 11:59pm Central time. All materials may be submitted to iftsa.coy@gmail.com and any questions related to your submission can be addressed to David Bloom at the same email address.

This is a great opportunity to show the entire IFT community just how much your chapter has contributed this year! Did you excel at community service, social events, or involvement with National IFT activities? Be sure to highlight these in your chapter’s entry. As a reminder, the entry form also includes 3 essay questions designed to give you the opportunity to highlight your chapter’s growth and progress in the past year, as well as the impact you have made on your community.

What characteristics do you think the IFTSA Chapter of the Year should possess? Have you ever been part of the winning chapter? What set your chapter apart?
